Ron from Charlotte, My Swiss Army is a Victorinox, not sure what model. It has a black metal case and I had a black nylon/brown leather strap put on. It is a fine walk about watch. My Range Rover Sport is an '06 model in Giverny green. It is my 6th Land Rover and a great machine. My wife drives an '05 E 320 which we really like as the family car. We have grown kids/grandkids so we are a couple again. She never drives the old military Rover as it is RHD which means shifting with the left hand. Almost time to head out to church so I have on my Exp II. I really do like that watch! Cheers, Bill from Hartwell, just three hrs south of you on beautiful Lake Hartwell.

Not to get off Rolex's, but your Swiss Army is the Calvery model. I have one of those too, but only in SS, with the green nylon/brown leather band.

Your car combo of an E320 and Range Rover is superb.

Enjoy your Exployer, your retirement, and those vehicles.

Ron, thanks for the identification of the Swiss Army watch.

In addition to the E320 and the Range Rover Sport there is also a 1973 Land Rover military lightweight in the garage.

Yep, loving being retired! Cheers, Bill P.

Certainly a variety here.

When I was copping I only wished I had a sub. Knowing the schmucks I had to work with, I would have been accused of being on the take.

That's interesting. Never really thought about the perceived image of a police officer with a Rolex.

Another member of the thin blue line. Never did wear my SD on the job though. The dept wouldn't take to well to a $5500 replacement bill if it got broke......which it eventually would.

Sorry I'm late in getting in.

I'm a CPA and Kristin is an RN. I wear the sub in the office, but Kris wears an Ironman in the ER and leaves the DateJust and TOG at home.

I travel through Europe and Asia Pacific on business and My Explorer 11 travels with me and doesn't leave my wrist ....just LOVE the 24hr hand. Most of my contacts wear Rolex (especially in Asia) so my baby sort of fits in well......

I've only had it for a couple of Months and I'm travelling into some of the murkier parts of eastern eurpe next Month - so debating whether to take my old Longines for 'street ware' - leave Rollie tucked up in the hotel safe.......

Trial Lawyer. My firm specializes in products liability, professional malpractice, engineering defects, catastrophic industrial injuries, sexual and clergy abuse, workers compensation, statutory and contractual disability among other areas. I started my career, like most astute trial lawyers, representing insurance companies. After some years of working for the dark force to the point that my conscience could take it no more, I took up the speer as opposed to the shield. Now I get to do social justice and be Robin Hood. I am involved with a huge fraud matter involving pension funds that are essentially stolen from hard working people after they have given their lives to a company. Boom, company gets bought, and so does obligation to pay for these funds leaving people broke. I have paralyzed clients, defaced clients, amputees, widows, widowers, parents whose kids have been killed, all kinds of people after 22 years of this.

I usually wear my GMT with black bezel. That is the watch of the day, every day. Then I will sport my LV on weekends or friday nights when I am feeling sporty.

I am a Distribution Center Manager for a large Electric utility. Since I bought my SD and Exp II a few weeks ago they have received the most wrist time

Before that I rotated to a different watch on an almost daily basis. I have a pretty diverse collection that includes:
Omega SMP
Omega Speedmaster
Limes Vintage Nightflight
JDR TV Screen
Glycine KMU 48
Mark II Quad 10
Zeno Magellano Day/Date
Seiko 007 (Yao modded)
Citizen SS Eco-Zilla

There are a few others, but these get the most wear. I make my choice on what to wear each morning based on my mood and planned activities.

Hi ! I am an armyofficer and have hade my watches every day, for the past 30 years, therefore the have gained a "sort of patina" during the years.... Probably the watches will take more strain than "my humble body".... Or what would you think..???

TRUE!!! I gaurantee to save your soul if you give me a new Daytona.

I have been a minster for 18 years and my family owns a construction company. I started collecting Rolexes when I was 18 years old. My first was a datejust stainless. Currently I am the proud owner of 2 and am looking for my fourth. Life is GREAT!
