First cut is the deepest…
It hurts finding scratches on your watch for the first time… I wear my watches and I understand scratches is part of enjoying them.
Heres mine… it’s subtle but I notice it. Showed my wife and she couldn’t tell… It’s like noticing dents on your car - no one can notice but yourself… lol Show me your first scratch on your watch. We all know we have pics because one of the first things you do when we notice one is take a pic. lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That’s nothing, if you wear these watches then scratches and dings are inevitable-just try to minimise them.

I must say a scratch on the bezel of a Royal Oak hurts multiple times more than a comparable scratch on any of watch I own!

IMO that's nothing. If you think that's bad, you should see my 5980 that i used to daily.
To your watch, that's an easy fix with a light polish or maybe even with a Cape Code polishing cloth if you are up for it. Hairlines come so easy on polished areas so wear, don't worry and enjoy! |

Don’t know if it’s intentional or not, but the thread title is a nice reference to Entourage Like most people, the first scratch always hurt, but it seems to hurt ever so slightly more when it happens to your AP. Bracelet and case, I can (barely) live with, but when the bezel gets it, drives me insane because it becomes my point of focus. I try to find comfort in telling myself that other scratches will eventually appear and will make the first one less obvious, but yeah, it’s painful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The watch is a tough guy. Sure he’ll survive it and hopefully no other scratches better than this. However, it’s an amazing piece, lovely to behold.

I almost cried when I got my first scratch. Now idgaf. I actually think the RO looks best when new or when heavily scratched / patina’d. The in between period is when it looks the worst, which is the period you are in…it will get better in a few years
