So from this I guess you can say it's safe to work on your Spitfire while wearing (or taking off) your Rolex. LOL!!

Glad to report that my Submariner survived looking at a pond earlier today! I'm just lucky I didn't have to test out that water resistance rating. Surely the watch would've been flooded immediately!

★The OFFICIAL★ "Is It Safe" Rolex Thread
"Is It Safe" to open bottles of RED and White Wine with your Rolex on?
YES! I have open countless bottles of wine with various Rolex watches on my left wrist with no issues to time pieces. I even tried a screw off once safe too! So, Open Some Wine Guys!

The only time I drove a Spit was when I took one for a test drive about 25 years ago. I was ready to do the deal and had a another look around, including opening the flip-front bonnet/hood. When I closed it, the side-mounted catch caught on the battery cable, shorted and the car went up in flames! Spitfire in name and... Looking at a tall building? Feeding the monkeys seemed a bit dodgy. In fact, they have a rep for stealing things, so I was genuinely a bit nervous. Feeding the otters, on the other hand could have got nasty. This what one did to my wife's leg: I, of course, was safe because of wearing the DJ! The otter knew not to mess with a Rolex wearer |

Safe to wear your Rolex while sleeping?
Conclusion yes but the significant other needs to use the guest room so you can sleep in the middle of the bed and there is more distance between you and your night stand |
