I would generally assume this would only happen with a watch that’s highly sought after, otherwise you’d be able to try it on at your AD. If that’s the case, you should have no trouble selling it, and likely making a profit to buy something that you like better.

I had a hard time bonding with my 16570 at first, but over time I’ve grown to love it. I think it was because I was used to the sturdiness of my 114060, so to hold the 16570 it felt flimsy.

With time though, I really grew to appreciate the steel bezel and unique look of it. The color pattern of it all with the red hand is definitely something special, and it’s light enough for me to take on any sort of adventures. Also I love how low-key it is, and only a few people have ever acknowledged to me that it was a rolex.

My Seiko Turtle SRP773. I like the blue dial, and bezel. However it’s too big for me. I have a 7 1/2 inch wrist. Some days I like it, some days I don’t. I wear it once in a while, but it’s usually in the box. It was a gift.

Probably the jubilee batman. I had it for a few months and it never really appealed. Sold.

I got tired of my sub the first time around. I went and bought it again and will never part with it.

I see some saying that would never happen with research beforehand. Unfortunately, a lot of these watches aren’t available to even try on.
