My 5167 is finally back from service

I dropped it off at the PP service center in Bangkok in late November and I just got it back today.

I had really missed it!

Watch looks good and nice little travel pouch as well, was that a gift or is that an available purchase item from Patek?

Looks great!!! I am also curious about watch case.... Also if you don't mind me asking as I have a 5167 myself, what did the service run you. Ive heard around $1,700 but would like to confirm from someone who just had it done. Thanks!

As good as new!

Kinda surprised about the time it took to service a non-complicated movement though - almost 5 months.

Wow, just wow. That watch just looks great in so many ways. I'm glad it's back on your wrist.

Thanks!

The pouch comes with the service. Below is a pic of the inside of the lid.

Sorry, it was still within the warranty period so the service was free of charge. The warranty expired in January 2015 but I dropped it off in November because it was not keeping the charge.

I know, I had heard bad things about the length it took Patek to service pieces. When I asked in January they said the watchmaker who could service that watch was in training in Switzerland. Who knows.
