Great IWC you have there Kaue!

I’m a huge fan of pilot watches. I have one IWC ceramic Doppelchrono and one pilot watch that I made myself with an ETA 6497.

I want to pick up a Cartier Santos soon, as it was the very first pilot watch ever.

Thanks, Dave! Ohh, that ceramic split chrono is just and how cool is it that you actually built that other pilot!

From my experience (I flew for the USAF), it depends on who you ask: but I find the chronograph very useful. There was one mission that comes to mind where I absolutely needed a chronograph. I was glad I had one so I didn’t have to do the math based on the time displayed on the instruments. Most aircraft now have the ability to start and stop a timer but I like having one on the wrist. Hope that helps, but others views may vary a bit.
Hey Jonathan, thanks a lot for the input!

I've never seen this watch before coming into this thread. Without a doubt, one of the most aesthetically pleasing watches I've ever seen. Every feature is, in my opinion, perfectly executed. Literally every part of the watch has a detail in it, from the:
-hybrid coin edge/fluted bezel
-railroad track style outter ring with diamonds painted on the 3 and 9 position
-the 2 sets of fonts for the 2 sets of numbers
-the heart tipped hour hand
-the tiny yet useful railroad track printing on the inner sub-seconds dial
-simple lugs to frame the stellar case and dial
-well sized crown that doesn't stick out too much.

I'll take it

I wouldn't quite say it is a pilot watch (no large numerals, no numbers at all) but a watch for pilots nonetheless.

I would have gotten an IWC myself but they wear a bit too large for my taste. It was my next best choice for this type of watch.

Great pics, guys. Love the WWII piece. The "dirty dozen" was always a group of watches that fascinated me.

Currently, my only Pilot's watch: IWC Pilot's Chronograph IW377724 on a custom ABP Concept strap.

This was an e-commence only 'Tribute' to the 3705/3706. IWC released it for a very short period of time starting in April 2018:

Great stuff! Hadn't realized the Patek is such a close copy of the Zeniths... or was it the other way around?

Not sure which came first, but I know Zenith has a long history of producing Pilot style watches.
