The5396R is not a strap monster

Ironically I wanted the 5396 as something dressier to add to my collection that is made up entirely of Sports watches. I no longer have occasion to dress up very often these days, but still wanted something more classic. The irony is I now find myself trying to give it a more casual look for summer so I can wear it more.

The 5396 was exactly what I had in mind and I absolutely love it. I thought if I could just add a casual strap it would be more versatile. However I’m finding the RG makes it hard (for me) to find a good match.

Anyway, spent a couple of hours yesterday at my AD (not to mention hours pouring over online options like Delugs and the like) and this is the closest I could get. Not loving it, but for now it’s a place holder (wanted something a few shades darker)…suggestions welcome…
