Really glad this nonsensical thread got resurrected. I'm firmly in the "luxury backpack is an oxymoron" camp. After seabags & rucks, I try not to carry a backpack unless being hands-free is necessary. A handheld duffel for solo weekend movement, or even an airplane roller bag. But in my day-to-day, it's an attache` or laptop bag.

I once splurged and tried to use an awesome camo English bridal leather/waxed canvas bag from Beretta, but my back was too sweaty and got rid of it. For a walk from the car to the office it’d been fine, but as a day pack when traveling, it was not ideal.

My bags have since been Mystery Ranch bags depending of volume needed.

Most of my luggage is Tumi but I have a Victorinox backpack…have owned it for about 20 years. Great quality.

I use my Assault 2 for pretty much everything now. Best bag I've ever owned by a mile.

Luxury backpack thread

Mine (but not my pictures…)

Dior Hit the Road backpack.

The cool buckles are scratch magnets though!

There’s a version without the side pockets.

And there’s the same backpack in light gray.

I hope I’m not speaking out of turn here, but I know for a fact Blansky uses his LV luggage for storing LV luggage, and backup Leicas.

Funny, I was at Bloomingdales on Friday and saw an all black Tumi Voyageur duffel/backpack on sale. I'm in the market and had a gift card and figured "why not?"
