Just attended the Hodinkee JP x Ring Jacket event in Aoyama in Tokyo yesterday.

Took my M11 Monochrom with the 35mmAPO to take some photos. I have to say, watches bring together so many different genres together in such a natural way. Like this was a Suit and Jacket event but people were talking about cars, shoes, travel, all because we just love watches. Its such an excellent hobby to meet like minded individuals who arn't only interested in watches but in other things which you are also probably interested in, or at least very curious to know more about.

It was good to meet other fellow hobby photographers too and learn their tips and tricks.

I like the picture and agree with your analysis of watch people in general and have enjoyed the watch get togethers over the years.

Yes, have met new car/motorcycle/coffee/food friends via the watch world. All local, too, not just e-friends.
