I was roaming ebay this morning and saw an auction for a 6542. It looks like most of the parts are factor replacement but wanted to hear your take on it.

I actually saw this watch on Craigslist but this guy beat me to it. I'm sure he's going to make a nice profit from this auction.

I don't know what you mean about factor replacement but as stated in the listing, the bezel and insert are aftermarket.

The description notes most of the deffects..

Like any other vintage watch, a lot of the value lies in the dial. In the case of the 6542, the original bakelite bezel also has a lot of value. So, I say pass!
