I was roaming ebay this morning and saw an auction for a 6542. It looks like most of the parts are factor replacement but wanted to hear your take on it.

I don't know what you mean about factor replacement but as stated in the listing, the bezel and insert are aftermarket.
The description notes most of the deffects.. |

Like any other vintage watch, a lot of the value lies in the dial. In the case of the 6542, the original bakelite bezel also has a lot of value. So, I say pass!
