I sent the seller a message regarding the 3139 movement photo and he sent me the following to show it is a 3135.

Should there be a white plastic insert inside the case as shown in his original listing?

Original listing looks like 3139, and I can not see how that can look like 3135!

And the two photos are the same movement, I would bet on that!

And why would a counterfeiter put a non Rolex caliber?

Would love to know how he got the case open too since I understand only rolex and a very select few have access to the deepsea case back removal tool.

Its the same movement in my opinion!

Anyone can open a DEEPSEA that can open a standard Rolex Case Back. What you think is the difference

I can not currently report, but I can not explain the movement number in 1st post!

1. A common Joe Schmo jeweler can't properly reseal the dssd hermetic seal of the case without the proper tools. I doubt this was accomplished based on the sediment / corrosion inside the first open case photo...and by the way, a genuine watch will not corrode like this one, fyi. :)
2. Pretty sure there are no stamping or numbers embossed on the case of a genuine dssd.
3. Finally, there is just something fishy with this seller...that movement picture they're showing was pulled right from Google images, keyword 3135.

Opening the case, just requires a normal Rolex Oyster case tool.
After opening it, it should be properly re sealed and a pressure and waterproof test.
I would think only Authorised repairers ever do that on any manufacturers cases.

I would say after close examination that both the movements posted I.e. The original and reposted are the same movements.

The numbering anomalies is a mystery to me.

Currently, I could not report as it all looks correct

Please post a link to a movement (3135) that is identical i.e being now used by the seller.
I checked, but did not find a "stock" photo that exactly tied to seller.

For certain, I would not buy either, but unless I can prove that movement is a stock photo, I can not try to get annulled
