Replace bracelet watch with strap watch for desk diving

What happened to the days when you'd buy a watch and just wear it all the time i.e. when fixing the car, gardening, swimming, painting and decoration, diy etc...its a watch, if people are worried about scratching their precious objects maybe they should wear a different brand etc

I hate desk diving scratches also. I keep a sweatband at my desk and slip it on when I work. Works great.

How about just gluing a piece of leather on the offending portion of the laptop?
