Their purchase valuations are very low. I bought 2 watches from them, one of which I returned without any difficulty.

Nice to hear you had no difficulty returning a watch though

I bought a 1999 birth year Tag Heuer for my son's 21st 3 years ago and found then easy to deal with and had good communications with them. Did exactly what they said they would do and delivered the watch locally so I could see it in person before purchasing.

It’s low trade in value. C&C, for all their faults, had a much higher trade in value. Of course they have very few watches I would want.

Never traded a watch into them. I have bought from them before and it was a good experience

A while ago (more than a year) they were ok. I sold them two watches for a reasonable price.

And then they started lowballing you. I routinely send them queries for my watches but nowadays unless it’s a 16202, 126500 or 5700 they are not buying. Their offers are low and I suspect their stocks outrageously large.

They had their time, but now I don’t even consider them seriously.

Also the staff is the worst I’ve seen. They are the bottom of the barrel of Richemont group.

Correct; the (young) staff I have met and discussed with have little to no knowledge about watches, even worse for vintage models.

Easy to deal with and good return policy for buying. Insulting offers on non-hype watches.

I got a price from them to sell a Seamaster but it was a bit low. When I turned it down they phoned and offered me more. I eventually sold to Subdial who have been excellent for buying and selling but I would consider Watchfinder again.

Their offers are good and their asking prices are usually negotiable. I've sold two watches to them and a third is in transit at the moment. Their provisional offer for the watch I've just sent tem is as good as I've received from any other used dealer. I haven't bought any watches from them but as said, they were willing to haggle on the two occasions I approached them but ended up going somewhere else.
