Never heard of a factory PVD rolex ever being made. Do you have any info on this piece?

Brevet plus is like a Banford type custom house.

Brevet+ are a small customiser of Rolex, like Bamford et al.

I don't mind the PVD/DLC look (unlike many here who seem to believe Rolex are equal to Holy texts and that it's a mortal sin to have them in anything other than 100% original condition), and I'm glad that you're happy with it (I would be too BTW), but there's no way in hell I'd pay a £6k premium for it!

I really like this, but again it's way over-priced at £19k:

So wrong. It's like spray painting The Mona Lisa a darker shade of black because da Vinci didn't get it quite right.

The main reason I don't like all black watches is that they don't really go well (in my opinion) to any clothing style... Unless you're a death metal type of person.

It's true that black goes well with anything but maybe not in the case of watches...

Picked this up used for less than £4K, including a 2 year warranty from Miltons.

Can't complain.....

Looks like they should PVD coat an extra link. It looks too tight.

My only concern with PVD is does it scratch or ding? If it is scratch proof (I mean where you don't see the underlying steel), then it is very cool.

That's like $5000 and I think that's a great price! Congrats!

It's unique, I will say that. Ultimately, the color scheme hides most of the lines of the watch...those lines are what make the watch so beautiful to begin with...

I can comfortably say that the resale value will be in excess of what I paid for it my trolling friend, as mentioned earlier it was a very good price.

Don't let me hold you back from your quality posting duties.

I have one of these too but not in black. Think it's a great looking watch! Brevet confirmed with me that they'd only customised 54 of these so not many of them around!
