New 2017 42mm ROO Chronos
I'm not seeing any discussion about the new 42mm Offshore Chronos.
Personally I like them especially the blue black variant (26470ST.OO.A028CR.01) but I can't find any live pics anywhere. Is there no love for these pieces anymore or have they simply gone unnoticed? Here's a link to the AP site: https://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/wa....OO.A028CR.01/ |

It's nice but personally prefer the older navy blue it's livelier and believe AP can do better :(

I like this one but much prefer the 44's and think getting the TI one, looks awesome and TI with CE bezel means lightweight and scratch free for most of the case IMO, but this blue and black new navy is really cool, but I have the ce diver so if I get one it will be 44

I love the 44mm as well but I also have a soft spot for the 42mm ROO. I really like the older Panda dial, elephant, and the blue you posted.
I hope to add one someday :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I like them but I prefer the older styles ... panda, volcano and bee especially. Of the newer ones I like the black/red.
I would step up to 44, wrist permitting.

Have my eyes set on the the ROO Navy but I love this one. Leather strap and the black and blue dial make a superb combo. More dressy.

It's quite nice. But generally prefer the 44mm for added wrist presence, more details and the ceramic bezel.

Me too, the old Panda and Safari had real character, I really like the 44s now and the lightweight Ti may be a good way for many to move up to the larger size, smart move by AP.

They just don't look good when I put them on my wrist for whatever reason. For that reason, I'll likely never buy a 42 ROO chrono.

they look great.
the new "navy" and "safari" are both big improvements over the previous versions with wider appeal https://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/wa....OO.A820CR.01/ the rose gold hands must look fantastic with brown dial and beige numerals! my only criticism is that dial color changes can only go so far. where are the ceramic/cermet bezels and forged carbon cases? are they saving them for limited editions? the Jarno Trulli came out 7 years ago |

Until the 42s have a ceramic bezel I'll continue to prefer the 44s.

It's interesting that there are no new WG models, hardly any on the 42 at all and none on the 44.
