The black face doesn't look bad at all, but IMHO a polar with the black ceramic bezel is

A 42mm ceramic Rolex will be interesting indeed.

If they do it, which I would prefer they don't, I hope they have a nice radial brush on the ceramic. That's one of the key features of the explorer. Frankly either way it's going to change the look and identity of the exp II for the worse.

Sorry, but it looks like a Tag to me. No disrespect to TH, just that it reminds of one.

I love orange so this appeals to me but I doubt the Exp will go ceramic or PM.

This is the watch I will buy if Rolex does this... the new EXP2 is begging for a black ceramic bezel.

If it had a ceramic bezel I would expect it to turn. Then why not just buy a GMT II?

the exp2 is fine with the ss bezel, maxi dial and orange. what it needs is to be 40mm again. 42mm is a little much.

The daytona ceramic bezel doesn't turn. The EXP bezel never did turn, get a GMT for that...

Since the EXII bezel doesn't turn, I'd want to see something like a tungsten or other scratch resistant alloy bezel on it. It's always had a metal bezel, and I'd want to keep it that way, but could change the composition a bit.

Leave the black ceramic for the GMTII.

Yeah, a ceramic bezel is silly on the EXP II, as it would be less durable. If one wanted black, you could always get the bezel a DLC treatment.

Agree about 40mm, too.
