Agree. Nice piece if the price is right!

No bracelet I see so consider that in the value. I see watches with no, or incorrect bracelets selling (asking anyway) for the same as complete correct examples.

hi guys, the asking price is about 5.6k usd, watch only, seller is throwing in a leather strap and aftermarket buckle. is that alright? thought it is slightly on the steep end.

If from a trusted seller at that price, and you love the watch, buy it.

Hi all. Thanks for the replies, the watch is a 6.1mil series and circa 1979. Just wondering if anyone could identify the mark for this specimen?

Very nice example. Price is fair. Great patina on dial, hands and insert.

Nice looking watch. Just be careful with watches that have perfect matching patina. Some repaint the hands just to drive the prices up. But i dont know how to spot an original and a repainted one. Goodluck!

I like the watch.
Nice overall look and sweet patina.
Hands could be colored, but as long as it is disclosed by the seller I see no harm.

I prefer when the color of the hands match the color of the plots on the dial.
My 1680 for reference. Yes, the hands have been colored

I am ok with relumed hands but not on the dial. As long as it is priced fairly, I think this is a great 1680.

BTW, I think it is very very common to see relumed hands.

Looks like some pretty significant damage to that dial there . . . .

In the second loupe-magnified photo, all over. And verified in the smaller photo above, also. Between 8-9 markers, just down from 11 marker, near center post left, etc. Also losses to 7 luminous marker.

The hands are aftermarket...starting with the sweep seconds hand that has no taper after the tritium ball. If the hands don't bother you, don't worry about it. If it does, get some genuine hands.
