New Submariner accuracy

Picked up a new 114060 on October 18th, synchronized it with "time.gov" and it's stayed at +1 second overall.

I wear it 23hrs 45min per day as I ONLY remove it shower (don't want soap build up)

My daily wear habits must help regulate it to stay so accurate.

I've owned a handful of Subs before and this is by far the most consistently accurate one I've owned.

The same is true for my SD4K. The 3135 movement is great, -1 sec/day on average.

My 114060 has had incredible accuracy as well. Way better than COSC!

That's great! Like you, she is 24/7, yet includes showering. BTW the one here was -6.5 a day so sent it back for regulation and now she is +7 a month. Yeah, that's crazy good!

It is mind boggling to think how a mechanical device can be that crazy good. Enjoy!

Great choice! Bought my 114060 a week ago and it's +/- 0 so far. Sometimes take it off at night and wore it in the shower once to reduce the creaking of the links.

Am I the only one that thinks taking if off when on the can is probably a good and hygienic idea? :)

Chaps

My old Explorer Freccione 1655 always gains 3 secs per week and my AD thinks I am being awkward when I tell him to get tougher with his technicians and improve it.

Regards

If its 3 secs a week then I think its unrealistic to expect a better accuracy in a mechanical watch.

My 2014 39mm Explorer gains just 2 secs over a month, so why not for any other watch.

You got to be tough on retailers to get them to kick ass back at the factory.

Regards

Mick

Holy cow, that's good. I thought my +2 seconds/day was good. But now I'm jealous that I have to adjust the time once a month.

Well the call 3135 that was frst introduced in 1988/9 has not basically changed and seeing the cal 3135 is used in most of the Rolex line up.Most all the Rolex oyster line up except the chronographs are based on the cal 3135 with or without added complications. And no matter the model or the movement inside is only as good as what its been regulated too.

Just checked mine that I picked up last week - its gained less than 1 second in 4 days.

Super happy with that. Amazing for a mechanical watch
