Weights for 351, 270 and 312 please?
If any owners could please perish their pieces, I'd really appreciate it. I'm looking to retake the Panerai plunge for a 351. I've owned one before but was recently told the weight on the 351 is very close to the 312. I find that difficult to believe. I'm also extremely partial to the 270.
Thanks! Everett Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Some people swear there's a big difference between equivalent SS and Ti models. Personally, I don't feel that the difference is that signficant (for example, between a 111 and 176), but, I haven't worn a Ti for long lengths of time.

Quote:
for the luminor case you are correct, no significant difference. But got to hold the 312 vs 351 and yes there is an obvious difference in weight for the 1950 case. Watches are not mine...yet |

Watch perceived weight is all about fit.
Perfect strap size and it does not feel like you are wearing a watch.

It's not just fit, the actual weight affects the overall comfort. I don;t knwo the actual weight difference but the 312/328 is much heavier than my 351/352
I could not wear my 312/328 for more than 8 hours without it getting on my nerves because of it's weight. It became so annoying that I sold it. My 351/352 fits exactly the same but significantly more comfortable to wear. I have no problems wearing it all day and night. |

I've worn a Ti 562 for the last year and a half an anytime I try on a friends SS base model, I can't believe the difference in feel. Not that the SS model is unwearable or anything, but it feels like a completely different watch to me.
