Accuracy -05 sec or +3 sec?

For your Rolex, if you have 2 choices of accuracy
-0.5 sec
+3 sec

Which will you choose?

I'm nearly always late for everything anyway, so -0.5 for me.

I know people who deliberately set watches and clocks fast because they think it will make them do things earlier, but they always just allow for extra time and start later.

+3 because it makes it easier to adjust or reset the watch (just pull the crown out and wait until the time matches again)

I do this with my watch. I'll set it a minute and a half or so slow, then reset it in two months when it's a minute and a half fast (my watch is about +3 now, but varies from +1.5 to +4 depending on how I wear it).

I don't have a problem being late, but my wife does. So I have the clocks in the house set fast. I just don't tell her they're set fast... it works

+3 easier to re-set and I would rather be early than late even though we are talking trivial amounts here.

All mine run at + or - so I got nuthin'.

But -0.5 is way better than +3.

My weekly work wearer 14060M runs at -2/day.
I set it on Monday morning around 10 secs fast and it is about spot on at the end of the week.

I will be having it serviced next month and would like to shift this to a +\day.

curious what you mean by "how you wear it?" i just got my 2008 sub 5 days ago and i am trying just to wear it relatively same hours each day and lay dial up at night to get an average on it, about +4.5 so far.

thinking of resetting it each saturday at 6am. should be +32 or so by then

Happy with that.

+3. Easier to adjust as all you have to do is hack it until the correct time approaches.
If it ran slow, you would have to move the hands to the correct time.

Wow and that would be a very hard and difficult thing to do, just think you will have to unscrew the crown and pull out the stem then turn the crown to adjust the hands.A very very difficult task to do that must take a lot of energy and the use of your fingers.

Have plenty of watches running to fast already... More accurate is preferred, -0.5 sec without hesitation.

My point is that it is easier to just hack. Your point confirms mine. Thanks for chiming in.

W/O a doubt, -0.5/day, leave face-up overnight to reclaim about a second. Works for me!

This. Same for my 126200. Loses a second a day on wrist. Gains a second face up at night. Easy.

I only have to reset twice a year, during daylight savings time, because of how close my watch is regulated, and of course weekly overnight positioning.
