Pam 233 vs. 111 in terms of comfort?
Hey guys,
can you please tell me the difference in feel on the wrist between the 233 and 111? I tried the 111 of a co-worker and it was big (17 cm wirst) but not uncomfortable. I know that these 2 models do have 2 different kind of cases, so my question: Is the 233 more or less comfortable to wear than the 111? I would absolutely appreciate comparison pics of the 2 models as i am not able to find comparison pics... Thanks a lot! |

From my recollection (no longer have a 111, but still have the 233), they are both quite comfortable and wear similarly. I think I would give the 111 the comfort edge as it is (presumably) slightly thinner in form, perhaps less top heavy too w a flattened crystal vs domed..
I actually quite miss the 111, and given the right opportunity would buy one again. My 111 was also DLC coated, which lent to its overall durability - I never really worried about scratching it against anything, and that may have played into my user experience and overall comfort level.. |

the 233 is the 1950 case and will wear a bit higher and have more weight. see if you can get to a boutique or ad to try one on. i have a 328 and love the 1950 case.

233, being a manual wind, is a slightly thinner 1950 case compared to the autos (like the 328), but all 1950 cases are thicker than a 111. Also, the 233 will appear a tad more bulky than the 111 due to the case shape and dome. That all being said, it really depends on one's wrist shape and what one likes best. |

As long as you get a good fitting strap it won't make a difference.

I felt the 233 was small but taller. The 111 was thinner but bigger. In reality both are about the same size and comfort.

Between a 233 and a 390 (pretty much the same case as a 111) I'd say, comfort wise, they're both the same. The 233, although thicker due to the dome crystal, doesn't feel at all top-heavy as long as you don't wear your strap too loose. And compared to a 320, which is much thicker 1950s case to accommodate the auto rotor, both wear very comfortably.

I have both and prefer the 233. The domed crystal with the case shape just pops! The 111 is a fantastic piece, but just not quite as interesting as the 233. Comfort wise, the 111 feels a bit broader, but lower profile. The 233 hits the sweet spot
