But the 15202 is a boutique only model...?

I'm sure the 15202 is a fairly good seller, but there's plenty to go around.

When I was in Rome this autumn there was the Blue dial one on display first thing I see when I got in the store. No discount of course, but available right away. It's not my cuppa, so I left it at the store.

Not in the us. Not a lot allocated to ADs, but they do get them.

The best brands are going to squeeze out the ADs (other than the best of the best). It is already difficult to get the sought-after models from ADs.

Getting mine from an AD - No boutiques in the UK, so this has to be the case for now.

They have a forged carbon too if someone wants it desperate enough.
Is this a forged carbon diver?

Also, AP is sending less 15202s to the US this year than last, but they can still be had pretty easily at ADs.

Isn't one supposed to be opening soon? Can ADs like Wempe get the blue dial 15400?

Yep, I've heard that a few times, but not sure when!

Not sure on that either. 15400 blue dial is certainly one I haven't heard of or seen in any UK AD at all.
When sourcing a 15202, I called up the Watch Gallery in London and they said they don't have a 15202 in stock and it's a Boutique only piece - but that's obviously not true! Definitely worth calling up each AD to see if they can source it somehow

"Boutique only" is not a hard and fast rule. I have seen pieces like the ceramic diver, which were boutique only, at the occasional AD. I asked AP NYC about this and they indicated that some ADs that have a good relationship with AP can get some boutique pieces as well.

I thought the 15202 has been boutique only for a while...

As stated by other posters, not in the UK at any rate....where there are no AP boutiques, but ADs *will* get the 15202. They *won't* get the 15400 blue, though--at least not in my experience.

Not true for the USA. The 15400 blue dial yes but not 15202.
