Finally bought my heirloom piece - OP39 with Rhodium Dial
I've been searching for a few months for a watch I thought would make a good heirloom piece. Something that would work with everything, and still have the same appeal (hopefully) in 20 years. I just had a son 3 months ago and wanted to find something to hand down someday. Sure yeah.....it was also a reason to buy something new as I'm sure one of you will quickly point out. 😉
I picked it up from a guy that bought it from his AD just a couple weeks ago....so it's got the ENTIRE warranty left! I absolutely love this thing! It's actually making me consider selling my Speedy.....something I NEVER thought I'd think about or do. This thing is so comfortable to wear, I could easily see it being my daily......and special occasion, and whatever else watch. Great choice! That OP design is timeless and classic.
Although difficult to photograph, you've done a good job. In 20 years your son will love that photo of himself wearing the Rolex as an infant. Well done! |
