Don't be foolish you'd be flushing £6000 down the drain unnecessarily. You're being fleeced.

2016 was transition year. I had a 2016 white 116520 from January 2016. 116500 wasn't announced until March.

I just figured the deal wasn't good to begin with when factoring in a 116520, but absurd with a white 116500

Keep Deepsea, Daytona and the Cash.

If you want to sell the DeepSea and save for the PM GMT that would be another option I'd keep the 116500 for sure!

If he lived near me, I would buy him a brand new 116719BLRO at my AD. Then I would trade him for his three watches and thank him for remodeling my downstairs bathroom.

Yes the Daytona is the 116500ln white dial ceramic. Has that just swung the vote the other way?

No it's still a decent deal I'd say as the GMT is a £28k watch list.

I'd still do it but push for a little less out of pocket.
I have the BLRO and white 116500 and since getting the BLRO I've hardly worn the Daytona.

Please spend a little time doing market research. That is not a good deal. If you don't mind giving money away, go for it, but you could do much better.

And OP, yes, I would do it as well.

But then, I much prefer the BLRO over either of the watches you may use in the trade, so it would be a no-brainer for me, although, I would be trying to beat down the cash amount a little more perhaps.

Please explain? I thought the 116500 would sell for a substantial premium there particularly the white?

What does a 116500 white go for?
How about the DSSD?
And of course lnib BLRO?

I assumed markups were across the board in the U.K. but particularly on SS?

2016 white dial Daytona's are up for around £10-10.5k and same year DSSD are up for about 7.5k. Those are non-AD dealer retail prices.
BLRO are very rare to find used here.......but I did see a 2016 one for sale a few months ago for £19k, but doubt that was a UK supply watch. Only one I've seen listed for sale in 12 months or so.

So, given that a dealer will be doing you a huge favour if he offers you as much as 75% of retail price (closer to 60% more likely) the deal on offer is about what I'd expect for a BLRO trading in those watches.
As I said, it's not a bad deal, but not a spectacular good deal, hence why I suggested trying to beat down the cash aspect of the deal a little.

Sadly since Brexit the price of unworn imported PMs has gone up, however I would only sell both for a new/unworn piece from say a Chronext etc and not a used piece. They might sell for close to £20K so if you get £12K for your D500 and £7K for your DSSD you are not far off.

Once you go PM, nothing feels the same. OP, I do suggest you try for LESS out of pocket towards the deal. Otherwise, go for it!

Do it. See if you can get the cash reduced by 25%. Once you get the BLRO, you won't be missing others. I guarantee that.

I'm a huge fan of the BLRO GMT over the references you are considering for trade, so the decision would be easy...yes! However, as with all trades at an AD, you pay a convenience premium versus selling yourself. You might want to get the cash portion down a bit more. PM watches are not exactly flying off the shelves these days with the overall world-wide decline in swiss watch sales. Good luck & Cheers!

10-10.5k for a 116500 white dial? I think not. If so people are complaining over nothing that side of the pond. I think you're off by a few thousand pounds.

If nothing else OP can surely cross into the EU and get this deal done for 5k less.

Not even close, Watchfinder and others are pricing them at £15,950, I've seen others at early £15,000's. I got offered £13,000 for mine after wearing it for a couple of months. No I didn't sell, I sold my 116520 - even they are going for 11k to 12k now in the U.K.

I would say no. Your loosing to good watches and cash to gain good watch. The two you want to trade are much easier to sell on their own if you had to . But if you ever needed to sell the BLRO it would take a little more time and you would loose when comparing the other two watch values. Don't get me wrong I love all three of those watches but I think that would be a mistake in the long run.
