SS oyster bracelet irritating skin
My wife complains she doesn't wear her watch because it irritates her skin. She says it makes her itchy but has not had the problem before with other watches.
It's a stainless steel oyster bracelet. It's clean and she has had it from new but it's always made her scratch, just more so now than before,.. so she has stopped wearing the watch. Anyone have any recommendations? |

Maybe 904L does not agree with her. Not the first time I have seen this.
Would she consider an all gold piece? Granted, much more $$. |

Oh..she would consider a gold or platinum piece - but I wouldn't (pay for it)!
We are pretty sure is not aftermarket ;) I'll look into the allergy test for nickel, good tip thanks. |

It sounds like a nickel reaction to me, or that'll be the excuse for a PM piece anyway

My colleague had the same problem. What is interesting that his allergy appeared when he was 50 y old. Previously he always was wearing Rolex with SS bracelet. He solved this issue by acquiring ceramic Blancpain.
