New Omega NATO Straps

Happy Weekend TRF-
I heard from a good source that Omega has a full line of high quality NATO straps coming soon. Has anyone heard this? Seen them?

As a NATO fan I'm excited--but also worried they will charge too great of a price.

I'm told they will be included in some of the new Basel models this Fall--specifically the Seamaster 300. He also said they will be available for sale on their own.

Here is the first version that we all saw at Basel.

I love a NATO for my Speedy Pro. Can't say I'd argue with a high quality version--just hope the price is right.

Not sure if they will be successful in justifying the cost difference. Like the direction though. Keeping all the watch needs within the brand.

Thanks for sharing the info! It would be nice to have some 21mm options since those are scarce in the market place (assuming they make them in 21mm). $175 is a tough pill to swallow since most NATOs are under $15. I'll admit the hardware is attractive and they look nice, especially the black with the thin subtle strip of color running along the edges.

We all pay a little more from our beloved watch brands but this simply is a rip-off.

Wow...$200 NATO strap...ridiculous!

I too will stick with mine for alternative straps...if I'm spending that kind of coin, I'd prefer to get a handmade leather strap

I doubt that Omega will move many of these at those prices!
