I don't want to get into the specifics of the watch

I don't want to get into the specifics of the watch.

But the seller is um, suspicious.

Let us know how it turns out.

@LAFlyer - I've got the same overwhelming vibe. But any and all info would be appreciated - no reason to hold back theories, observations, etc - after all, this is the "Watch Out!" forum section.. Speculation is the point of it.

So please - any and all musings are welcomed.

Looks like Christmas will be happening along with everyone else's Christmas. More detailed update to follow on the developments, or lack there of, I should say.

The seller has no activity whatsoever in the last year. There was a bunch of feedback prior to that, but none is readable. You can't see whether the feedback was for buying or selling -nor can you see the dollar amounts involved.

Basically you have a seller with zero track record.

A hijacked account is a possibilty here.

Haha he's opened an unpaid item case.

Immediately following the closing of the auction, I asked him to provide an image of the clasp (as it's unphotographed) alongside a piece of paper with his eBay username on it. And he only responded after my follow up reminding him to do so after having a non-response. Only then did he respond, innocently stating - Take your time, there is no rush for payment haha.

I guess he figures he better shake the bushes one last time. That or he's the most casual guy to ever want to get rid of a 5512 like it ain't no thang.
