Buy both :)

I have both....Panerai has a different character as compared to Rolex

Although for everyday use id rather use my rolex then my panerai. because rolex is more lighter than panerai.

1 vote SEIKO
1 vote RWC

If I want a bracelet, I wear a Rolex. If I want to wear a strap, I wear a Panerai. That being said, I much prefer a Panerai on my wrist than a Rolex.

like a previous member stated - if i want a strap, I wear the panerai. bracelet - rolex.

after having worn my panerai as a daily all over asia for almost 4 weeks, i would totally prefer a bracelet in a humid environment. i have an aftermarket croc strap on my 212 and it held up great but failed to breath enough to allow my wrist to stay dry in the humidity.

next watch: deepsea. panerai-like size, superior rolex steel case, cutting edge bracelet design, and a highlight in the rolex history. :)

Same, once I got the Panerai the Rolex just didn't seem the same anymore so I sold it. Are Rolex good watches? No They're great watches, but the Panerai puts the biggest smile on my face.

Jeff, agree with you Man. Rolex is one of the BEST. The famous brand in the whole wristwatches world.
But, I don't know...After I wear Pannie in my wrist, I can't turn my eyes anymore to others. My heart stuck with Panerai, I really hope Panerai is my "Final" journey.
I like other brand like IWC's Big Pilot. That's the only non Panerai I like for now.
Maybe I will buy that BP in the future? Who's know? But for now I wanna focus with Panerai first.
312, 000, 219, 233 (not so sure) & 249 is in my list.

Get what you like and what's going to make you happy, it doesn't matter what brand it is.

Now going back to your question I own both, love both but I wear my Panerai watches most of the time ...... they are different and that's what I love about it!!! I guess my vote goes to PamRol

Apples & oranges. If I had to choose just one it would be Rolex. Hard question though, man.
