  1. DSSD, way too thick & needlessly big, buy a Panerai if you like huge watches
  2. Any 41mm, the bezel to dial looks odd
  3. Anything WG, sorry it looks like steel
  4. Green sub, looks like a St. Patricks day give away
  5. Anything on a NATO strap, if it looked that good Rolex would offer it

I think a lot of people that love or hate the Daytona need to try one on. It can honestly sway you from way on one side, to the other.

The rainbow Daytona probably takes the cake for me, but those icy baby blue dials on the platinum DD's make me cringe. Dislike any piece with the Jubilee dial with the word "Rolex" splattered all over the place. No disrespect to opposite tastes

Another vote for yellow gold. Old fashioned, at least for me. As for Yacht Masters, I completely disagree that they are least popular. You keep you're eye on the new steel version YMII and see what happens. I imagine it will become as popular and sought after as anything, especially for such a complicated movement offered in steel. Just bought one. AM.

This is true. I was never a big fan.
Saw one at AD and it was very nice

I think all Rolex watches are nice, I just like the 36mm DJ/DD more than the other models.

Millgaus (lightening bolt looks juvenile)
SS Daytona (busy dial and likely the most over rated watch on the planet)
Skydweller (doesn't know if it wants to be a dress watch or sports watch)
Airking (entry level watch that should cease to exist)

phew...got that off my chest!

There is nothing Rolex puts out that I hate. If I could rephrase the post to which would I likely purchase last (excluding all the ridiculous diamond dialed, special editions variations) I would say probably the Daytona. I can see why people appreciate them but the dial does seem crowded and the newest models really do nothing for me.

I would additionally mention that I do not like Rolex models that come on leather straps. I think the cases look bulky and awkward on the thin leather straps Rolex is producing. I am also not a fan of Roman numeral Datejusts and Day-Dates. I don't like a Roman dial with an Arabic date window. It just looks confused to me.

Then again I own the Explorer II and the Milgauss which draw sharp criticism from many as well...

I have refrained from posting in this thread, however, I find this thread very imature.

Reason why, lots of Rolex purchases are made every day by people around the world buying the Rolex that sings to them and makes their heart skip a beat and yet everyone here has insulted those people for making fun of that specific model.

I only have one thing to say to everyone who made a comment insulting a specific model..

I do agree, though, the DSSD is not something ANYONE above the surface of the ocean needs to be wearing.

I didn't go through this whole thread but was there a single person that said "Black submariner"? That would really be something.. kind of like going on a Fender Guitar forum and saying, "you know what, I just don't really like the Stratocaster".
Absolutely. I suppose the black sub is the man. As it were. I kind of like all Rolexes, but at a push I'd have to say the Daytona is a big let down. Too small. Great in every other way, I accept, but too small for me.

Anything that is either 36-42mm, has a rotating bezel, chronograph complication, SS (CHEAP!!), YG (for old people), RG (not for men), WG (looks EXACTLY like that cheap stainless steel), or comes on an oyster, jubilee, or presidential bracelet.

I'll play. YM I. I just don't understand the purpose. It's a blinged out sub. At least the YM II has functionality.

Personally I dislike Rolex sport models with yellow gold or diamonds. Model wise: Air kings and YM1
