Simon Brette is damned impressive, love his release this year. Likely will never see one in the flesh but that's okay. I also have a hankering for an Armin Strom piece.

Moser, they are all so beautiful
Laurent Ferrier’s Traveller seems like the next step for my dual time obsession
Parmigiani Fluerier, always a sucker for Grande Date Chronographs
Oris
Sinn
Gronfeld Deltaworks 1969

May add to this list. Not enough coffee yet to activate my entire brain.

I recently acquired Ressence (Type 8) and will be buying other pieces from them. Love what they’ve done with the ROCS system.

Many great watchmakers mentioned

Let's give thanks, as 20 years ago....

We live in interesting times.

I have placed a few orders but they will only be delivered between 2024 to 2028. Going independents is a very good way to cultivate my patience. I will be a much better man in 2028

Maybe said it before in this thread

Otherwise….

Reima Koivukoski….. expecting one of his pieces within 4-10 weeks I guess

I’m expecting a very well finished piece
And he did everything himself
Dial, hands, tantalum case, movement finishing…. And what I saw looks gorgeous

Any update pics? I try to refrain from disturbing Reima but his last movement pic update was gorgeous. I told him to increase the price for his work. Call me crazy.

I was informed that my piece should be ready for end of this month or early March delivery. Very much looking forward to its arrival. He also mentioned that he is working on an in-house integrated chronograph with an emphasis on thinness.

My daily watches and let’s focus on the independent

Vianney Halter Scriptura, titanium version so very light and easy to wear

Journe Lune, 160 hour power reserve, perfect dial

Massena Lab x Louis erard, the gold dial is shiny though the watch is little big for me

Kuan Rao Orca, a rising star for Chinese independent watchmaker, really like his style

Beautiful collection. Can’t wait for my Lune to arrive in June.
