1971 Rolex 1680 - will RSC supply a red service dial?

I have a 1971 1680 submariner which at some time in the past has had a white service replacement dial fitted.

Will a UK RSC be prepared to fit a red service dial as the watch had when it was manufactured?

Regards

David

David, such dials exist--a RED service luminova replacement. Sadly I'm not sure RUSA even admits their existence.

The "red" service dials are not like the ones originally manufactured and installed into factory Rolex red subs.

spot on.....not the same. the swiss at the bottom is different and the markers are luminova............ better off searching for an original Mk 4 "open six" dial...........

David,
I don't think UK RSC will replace it.

Spoke to Bexley today and they only have one part number for 1680 dials and they are all white!

Looks like it will have to stay as it is.

Thanks for all the info.
