Icon20 ATTENTION( Rolex answers concern the dial variance)

Hi,

just to end all assumption regarding the dial variances (the printing fonts, the sign "=" location between 1000ft and 300m) and for the sake of peace of mind i have contacted one of the customer service at Rolex S.A and told him the problem exactly and his reply was

Dear Sir,

We are pleased to learn that you purchased a Submariner 116610 and take the opportunity to thank you for your confidence.
Our dials are hand crafted and there can be differences between one series and another. Your dial is perfectly normal and in line with our quality criterias.

Hoping to have been of assistance, we remain,

RSC
fyi the important part... there "quality criteria" (aka "normal tolerances") , according to RSC NYC, are not specifications that are available to the RSC.

these specifications are only available in Geneva at Rolex itself, not to be released to the public.

ie there is a lot of room for subjective interpretation at your local RSC as to what is acceptable and what is not.

your dial may be fine if its spaced a bit differently...

the above details where my experience with a Case frame that was manufactured with a defect... and was not corrected at manufacturers expense. it was extremely disappointing and petty on the part of the manufacturer to not correct their mistake.
