My 116718 got strapped, and with gold plated end links. the gold tone needs to fine tune a little bit to get the desired 18k colour

That's really nice George!
Two questions:
1- did you start making links for DJ II? Might've missed it.
2- What kind of leather strap are you using on this YG GMT?

Cheers!

WOW, you have wasted no time on this hobby. How long does it take to make a set of endlinks out of curiosity. Can you make for a DSSD?

It takes 35 mins to make 1 piece with proper setup, for new model, it take a few days to make it perfect, needs trial and error.

Dssd is next, when dd is ready by tomorrow or latest Wednesday.

This is my old Hirsch strap recycled from my DD

Thanks for recommending your friend to me.

Yup, in fact I was involved in F1, my company was contracted to provide some services, and its yearly basis.

Thanks

They look really sharp George your gold end links for the gold GMT looked perfect! I'd be interested in end links for the DSSD when you make them. Wow! Nice work!

I had this LV since 2008 and worn probably less than 20 times, decided to get it strapped with a $9.99 leather strap from ebay, and hope will have more wrist time from now on.

mighty fine work , if you dont mind me asking , what do you make in real life , i imagine the machines to mill these parts must be fairly exotic.

I own a decent size security company, and have small interest other businesses including 1 which does precision engineering.

Just bought a 5513 today, and was serviced recently by its previous owner at RSC, looks fantastic, I knew nothing about vintage, was love at first sight.

Cheers
