Daytona 6239 Restoration Project

A week ago my friend trusted me to find the right people to bring his 6239 back to life. This involved getting a new pusher and full case job.
I'm beyond happy with the results and can't wait to show him. I thought I'd share!

Without getting banned for "blatant business promotion" all I can say is it was done by a good friend of mine. I literally have to beg for him to do a job because he doesn't like to do them anymore. He's focused on making his own watch these days!

There's no rule against showing someone's good work and citing the watchmaker.
Otherwise, all of Michael Young's and Rikki's customers would be gone.

Haha, well if that's the case the watchmaker's name is Anthony McGonigle.
This guy seriously doesn't have the recognition he deserves and the best part is he doesn't even care. He just loves working on watches. I've never met someone so passionate in the work they do.
If I can get him to do another job on a Rolex then I'll show off the next project!

What a transformation...

Not meaning to ruffle any feathers but this would put the polished and unpolished debate into perspective. I'm still a bit puzzled why many are so adverse to polished cases when the results are so spectacular. Of course over-polished is another matter.
