Tudor suprise release?

While in contact with an AD they told me that on the 16th of this month tudor is going to have a surprise release and will be available for purchase on that day, they told me no further information is known. Seems interesting and thought I would share the word. Anybody else heard about this?

I haven't heard anything, no. Been a while since I was in an AD though.

Now I'm curious.

I don't think such a move is out of the realm of possibility. Wasn't the Black Bay Black a surprise autumn announcement last year? I picked this one up last October.

As they've done it before, I'd like to think they will do it again.
A Gmt would be awesome.

Looking at their IG feed, a Submariner design could be relevant.

A return of the Tudor Sub would be too much to resist. Especially if it's based on the pre-C model. Too far fetched, sadly.

I had heard a similar thing from my AD too. Will be interesting to see what comes next. Tudor has certainly be pushing out very exciting pieces on a consistent basis.

After watching their Instagram for the last week or so, I would guess at a sub. (I'm hoping for a sub!)

Also the Blackshield black and white was last Nov. Just hope this will not be silly special order only as well, if I could actually see one of these I might very well buy one.

Tried on the black and red, and it's cool but too much for me.

Since the Swiss industry has been on decline, I guess I could imagine them swinging for the fences with a new Snowflake. That's guaranteed money.

New sub would be awesome but seems odd alongside the BB and pelagos. Seems to me it would cannibalize sales.

They sort of did already with the pelagos though

If they did drop a snowflake sub without the Rolex maxi case lugs I wouldn't be able to resist lol

Tudor is really on a roll.

I never put a lot of stock in what ADs predict, but I think I've noticed a different attitude about the flow of information and the maintenance of the integrity of references by Tudor, so there might be something on the horizon.

Really excited to see if anything will happen here.

I'm interested to know how sales of the new in-house movement BB compare to the ETA version. It seems that some of the changes (dial, thickness, bracelet) have been polarizing. I know I personally preferred the original version and bought that.

It would seem odd to have another diver alongside the Pelagos and Black Bay, but if something is indeed going to be released, their Instagram feed foreshadows a Sub.

Yeah they don't get much traction here altho the black and white was well received here but can't remember an incoming. I'll put up more pics I took at the ADs. Tudor prices stayed the same.

Low contrast on many models might be a reason.

I like the high contrast dial on the one shown, but I can't really see the others well.

Some might be skeptical of ceramic cases.

I know I have some reservations about that.
