Anyone have an Omega Railmaster?
just killing some time at HK airport (flight was delayed and had to change gates to the other side of the airport). So I took a look at the Omegas and saw a Omega Railmaster. The saleslady said that they are exclusive to asia. Nice looking watch. very simple looking and classy. not to big either mabye 38mm?. no date either. had a nice black face and pretty styling hands. Just wondering if anyone has one and what do you think. Sorry for no pic as my cameras memory card is full right now.

I don't have one Dan but they look like a flashback to how watches used to be - very cool and unique looking watch, especially on a leather strap. They come in three sizes - 36.2mm, 39.2mm and a wopping 49.2mm.

I have a 39mm version Railmaster with steel bracelet but prefer to wear it with a leather
strap. I had been lusting for a 1016 Explorer but actually preferred the size of the Railmaster better. Very comfortable watch to wear and keeps great time (since recent service done at "Time and gold" in downtown Vanc) I must admit found the XXL just a bit over the top in size for me Your mileage may vary! its an updated line released in 2003 that echoes back to the original Omega railmasters from the late 1950's. I thought they were available worldwide.

I just got mine yesterday, and Im just head over heels over this beauty.
How can you not love this? And a lume shot It`s almost identical to the Railmaster back in the 50`s and thats what caught my eye. The domed bezel, the matt black dial and no fancy smanchy details. I`ve ordered the Omega meshed braceled for it, as Croc is not my cup of tea so to speak. They are now available in 39mm, 42mm and the XXL 49mm. Since I got such "girlish" wrist (*sigh*) I went for the 39mm. -Ram Edit: Typo |

Isn't it funny that in design simple as almost always better than busy. I like the design a lot and how the triangle on the minute hand is the inverse of the triangle indicies. And the matt dial - very nice. I want one.
