The AP RG and ceramic bezels are bombs, the other brands who do this combo are way behind, like the 116515, very nice but AP is in another dimension :clap::clap::clap:

I cannot argue. AP RG finish/polish is absolutely superb (personally believe no one does RG like AP).

Now AP ceramic sets the bar when it comes to ceramic finish...bar none.

About the RG I don't know as I mostly look at white metals, ok I take a peak sometimes at RG, especially the AP's with ceramic :chuckle: and these are stunning, but about the mix RG with ceramic or just the finish of the ceramic bezels are Just stunning and clearly number 1 :clap: they blow away all other ceramic bezels on the market, not the same league at all IMO :agree:

I love the black ceramic diver, it's gorgeous in pics, but not sure it would be ok on my 6.8 wrists, plus if ever I try one I better not wear my 5712 for a few days as I will have the impression it looks way bigger than it really does, last month after 5 months of only 5712 I went to Rolex, the sub, DDII and others just seemed HUGE to me on my wrist, whereas before they seemed normal :dummy:

Fully agree on this.

BTW, Paul, I just realized it seems there are two kind of finishing on the ceramic bezel of the RG44. One has finishing on the bezel with the very prominent vertical lines such as in yours while the other is more of matted/brushed pattern like the one owned by SamGMT.

You are correct Ben. I'm fairly certain that Sam has the 'H' serial which tended to have a smoother bezel finish. Mine is the newer 'I' serial which they made the ceramic finish more pronounced (and I like).

Both amazing pieces

I noticed it before but thought it was the angle at which the pics were taken, both are stunning but the one with vertical lines is the coolest IMO
