You have a point and that may well be a sound financial decision. But at the end of the day this is a watch, and on that score I think it's hard to say an Aqua looks like $35k - simply doesn't have that level of refinement, presence or gravitas. Current after-market pricing exuberance aside, there's a reason why its msrp is $23k.

My advice to the OP would be to consider a watch that punches above its weight, rather than one that prices above its weight.
