Thanks for the info.

I hadn’t noticed that on any of the photos I’ve seen of the black/grey dials but then again, I wasn’t particularly looking ‘cos I didn’t know they were different.

Interesting like you say why that detail wasn’t repeated on the blue dials.

Maybe that’s how they were back in the day when the original Monte Carlo versions were produced & Tudor just wanted to keep the new version as true to the originals as possible???

Would be good if anyone out there has an original example from the early 1970’s and could post some close ups of the sub dials for comparison.
