If you are referring to a watch being revered over another, that just depends on what is the flavor of the week.

The TT CHNR has gold. It’s going to cost more than a solid steel watch.

You need to ask yourself how are you going to handle it should the watch lose its value instead.

No Rolex is hard to get. They are readily available from greys, trusted sellers etc. If you are referring to from an AD exclusively, you pay in time instead of cash.

This is going to sound cliche but is the best advice there is. Get the watch you want. Or else you’re just going to end up selling it down the road and either stop there or go through watches serially until you get burnt out.
