I'm fortunate to own a Explorer and a Submariner.... I did look at a Tudor Ranger 79910 and discovered after buying a Tissot Sea star that they both have a ETA 2824-2 movement, like Oris its an affordable workhorse that should be given serious consideration, ( I have switched out the second's hand as this was not to my liking) good luck with your choice.
