Paypal actually saved me as a seller.
I sold my Apple Watch Series 3 through a site called Swappa that uses PayPal.
The account holder of the PayPal account used to purchase it filed a fraud claim, saying she never purchased the watch, and PayPal reversed the funds - taking the $ away from me. I disputed this action, provided the transaction details and PayPal returned the funds to me.
Near as I can tell, someone must have compromised her account and started using it to buy items.
Fortunately for me, I had shipped it to the address of record with PayPal so I was covered. The scammers must have changed her address when they compromised the account in order to get their ill-gotten loot.
