This was suppose to be a year of celebration for me because of professional and personal milestones achieved.

I ordered my grail watch from my AD and was quoted 2-3 months. I’ve been eying this watch for over a decade since seeing it on my mentor (36mm version). To me it has always symbolized the pinnacle of success for me and I knew that when I achieved my professional and personal goals I would purchase it.

Then the coronavirus pandemic struck the world. And though I could get the watch and be ok I opted to cancel my order about 3 weeks in. My AD was very understanding and was going to give me refund on my deposit.

Turns out they received the watch with their shipment and made me a very aggressive offer, and the rest is history. I’m in love.
