I got one almost a year ago. I got a like new D serial, no holes, SEL 16710 black bezel insert, box but no papers from Bernard’s Watches. Paid 10k. I then purchased a Coke bezel insert from the RSC here in Manhattan while keeping the original black insert. Cost me about $150. Love the watch to death.
My advice is to focus on getting the best possible shape watch you can and not worrying about the insert color or whether it’s a full set. A year ago the black bezels seemed to be priced a little lower. While prices haven’t necessarily come down, I think you’ll have more negotiating room now.
