Need 6251h Jubilee shortening advice (on 1967 5513)

In the corona lockdown I don't have watchmaker access in Los Angeles but want to take two links out of my newly acquired '69 6251h jubilee bracelet. My riveted oyster is broken for the time being and I like the look of the jubilee, feels more 60s to me even if it's not technically correct for the watch.

Any advice from you guys on how to remove links from a 6251h jubilee (or if I should even attempt to do it) would be greatly helpful.

Before you ask, yes I already did reduce the size on the clasp as far as I can, I just have the wrists of a small child....and yes I need to get a correct pearl for 5513, I'm working on that but also open to advice on how to get that fixed most efficiently.

Thanks!

And for good measure, my breeder/beater combo. I love the SKX013 as the beater alternative when not wearing the 5513
