I’ve seen a couple of instances of the same issue on other forums.
Your watch should be under warranty so I would advise taking it to your AD for inspection and repair.
If the watch is in good condition with no obvious signs of damage then hopefully it will be covered. It might be a little bit of a gray area however, and it’s possible the AD may argue you have inadvertently knocked it.
