I think a lot of people don’t realize the Mohs scale of Platinum vs Gold and it’s alloys. So even 14K gold is softer than Pt.
Gold: 2.5-3
Silver: 2.5-3
Copper: 3
Nickel: 4
Platinum: 4-4.5
