As far as my daughter I'm not sure. Certainly trying. I wear it for any significant life event and make it a point that she sees me wearing it. Seems to me that significance can't be taught so I'm trying to let it build organically over time. Hopefully one day she wears it and thinks about me as I think about my father.

She starts high school tomorrow. Attached are pict of her wearing the watch when she was around 7 and a close up from two years ago at her Bat Mitzvah.
