Seamaster 300 first for the reasons listed above. A more wearable watch on a day to day basis for me and the manual wind does not really work for me. I would look at the Speedmaster Racing in the 44.25. It does not wear much larger than the Speedmaster 42 mm and it is an automatic. I own one of both.
