However, if it's your very first Rolex, I think an AD would be the best way to go!!

Discounts are available, but would vary from model to model. Which one were you thinking of? The TT models are more discountable than the SS Sports ones. DJs also give the AD more flexibility on discounting as compared with the sports ones, especially the SS ones.
